Children's Ministry Assistant

Acton UMC is seeking a Children's Ministry Assistant, this is a part-time position (approximately 10-15 hours per week including Sundays) working with the Director of Children’s Ministries, to minister to the children of the church and their families. Acton UMC Children’s Ministry is growing and thriving and God is doing great things! Must have a passion for Christ, a love of children, music, art and drama with openness to expanding on the AUMC children’s program. Position to be filled by the end of May. Director of Multimedia Ministries

The Director of Multimedia Ministries is a full-time position working with the Clergy and other staff to oversee staff and all live service technology including media presentations, camera shot framing, audio and visual recording, audio mix and stage lighting for all events. The Multimedia Ministries Director will bring technical oversight and expertise for media equipment and upgrades.

Essential Duties:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the training and qualifications for all employees and volunteers involved in the media ministries.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the operation and maintenance of media equipment.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding the creative content of media presentations.

• Create videos for use in events.

• Serve as church consultant for media needs of all program departments.

• Manage and maintain the installation and operation of all multimedia equipment including, but not limited to, media presentation hardware, the soundboards, multi-media recording equipment, TV’s, DVD’s, duplicators, NLE editing system, projectors, screens and stage lighting systems.

• Manage the consultation for and purchase of all multimedia equipment and equipment upgrades.

• Develop and administer an annual budget for the multimedia ministries.

• Attend regular meetings including weekly staff meetings, worship team meetings.

• Recruit and train all paid and volunteer staff for multimedia, sound, and broadcast.

• Maintain a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within, and outside of, AUMC.

• Supervise and coordinate the staffing of the multimedia systems for all regular and special scheduled worship services, related rehearsals, and other special church sponsored events.

• Provide consulting, guidance, and problem solving for the Elexio Church Management Software

• Maintain church website

• Provide consulting, guidance, and maintain social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Google+)
