After School Program

Rancho Brazos Community Center works to strengthen families by offering an after school program for Pre-K through age 18. RBCC is committed to the healthy development of the whole child - academically, physically, socially and emotionally. After-school programming is provided during the school year. Offering families a safe Christian environment to complete homework, enjoy a healthy snack, tutoring, games, crafts, sports, and life lessons.

Monday through Friday 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Following the Granbury ISD calendar, as well for school closings.

RBCC is developing an Educational Enrichment Program, delivering a curriculum-based literacy program which supports and reinforces the literacy efforts of Granbury ISD. The goal of the program is to enable children and youth to read, write and comprehend the basic academic building blocks for success in school, and in life. Each child will be assessed by an Educational Specialist to determine the comprehension, accuracy and fluency level of each child. Students are assigned to a group according to their level and use texts that are at their level. All children receive teacher-led “guided reading” instruction and are also involved in vocabulary and writing activities related to their grade level.

Youth Leadership

Rancho Brazos Community Center Youth Leadership program provides a framework where youth can gather in a safe environment to receive homework assistance, substance abuse prevention, conflict resolution and character building. Staff work with parents, family members and school representatives to improve academic success, self-confidence and social competency in our youth. Additionally, mentors provide help with such things as resume writing, college entrance criteria and trade skill awareness. Youth are given opportunities to explore their options. For many youth, these trips are the only exposure they get to the world beyond their neighborhood.

Summer Program

Each summer Rancho Brazos Community Center hosts children for a 10-week Summer Education Enrichment Program. During this time children enjoy fun and safe activities such as arts and crafts, culture exploration and exciting classroom guests on a variety of activities and programs. It is so much more than just summer camp, students benefit from Rancho Brazos Community Centers' educational programs offered during the summer to minimize learning loss. The goal is to make a positive impact in a child's summer!
