I came to Rancho Brazos Community Center byway of Sandy Beach. I began volunteering at RBCC six years ago. After the tornado I became more involved with families in Rancho Brazos and began working at the community center when it re opened in 2013. I have raised one daughter and two sons and now am the proud grandmother of two grandchildren. My hobbies include reading, photography and movies.

Assistant Director :

Dana McDaniel

Hello! I’m Dana, and I am the Assistant Director at Rancho Brazos Community Center. I consider it a blessing that I get to do the work I love every day. I have the honor of working with the children in and around the community at Rancho Brazos. While I’m not working, I am a mother to 3, mother-in-law to 1, future mother-in-law to another, and grandparent to 2 animal babies! My eldest lives in Colorado with her husband and feisty feline, while my middle child and future daughter-in-law live in Texas with their snake. My youngest still lives at home with me and our friendly pup.

I came to Rancho Brazos Community Center byway of The Boys and Girls Club, and brought my husband, Justin Thomas, along with me as an active volunteer. Upon us leaving there after 4 years we really missed being an active part of the youth of Hood County.  We have 3 children, one of which also loves volunteering at RBCC.  We enjoy any time we all get to spend together outdoors, traveling and going to the movies. I am so very excited to be a part of the RBCC staff and start this new chapter in our lives.
